BANDADRIATICA (IT)

Transported by the Adriatic winds, the BandAdriatica comes from South of Italy (Apulia) with an original and cheerful proposal that mixes the suggestions that overlook the Mediterranean Sea: the Italian “banda” - which animates the parties, the processions and funerals with its deep and ancestral sound - with the virtuosity and energy of Balkan music and the influences and suggestions of North Africa. Above all this the freedom of a jazz band.

A fantastic "Odyssey" - just like the title of the last album (2018), made by eight musicians with an extraordinary section of brass and a refined musical proposal completed by a strong stage presence enriched by fun and engaging "choreographic" movements.
A powerful and explosive result that releases a lot of energy; a charming mix where the different languages blend in a blast, able to engage the audience in a big party. In Italian style of course!

Selected at SIM Sao Paulo (BR), Babel Med (FR) and Fira Mediterrania de Manresa (ES), BandAdriatica performed also a lof of international festivals such as Zürcher Theater Spektakel (CH), Zomer van Antwerpen (BE), Vidor Fesztivál (HU), International Gipsy Festival (NL), Babel Sound Fesztivál (HU); Malta World Music Festival (MT), Festival MéditerranéO’ Confluences (FR) and many others.
