Bakurocho Band is a Japanese project exploring new approaches to folk music. Take Tetsutaro and Yosuke Oda as its core members, the group is active in collaboration with a wide range of musicians, incorporating taiko drums, saxophone, piano, and vocals.
Under the concept of “Starting Folk Music from scratch,” they explore the roots of artistic expression across all times and cultures. Embracing a hands-on approach - from instrument development to visual production - they are expanding their activities into television, stage productions, and animation projects
