NEHA! (SK)
.
A haunting female vocal polyphony connecting the traditions of the world with the energy of contemporary world music
Neha! is a Slovak vocal group built on the power of the female voice, polyphony, and shared energy. Their repertoire blends traditional songs from various cultures with an original approach and a contemporary interpretation rooted in precise vocal harmonies and strong emotional intensity.
The five singers create a cohesive and distinctive presence on stage, where delicacy meets intensity, and tradition intersects with a current artistic voice. Their music is not a reinterpretation of folklore, but a living organism that responds to the present - addressing themes of identity, femininity, and social engagement.
Their debut album Svetu received significant international acclaim and ranked among the highest-rated recordings in the World Music Charts Europe. The group has also drawn attention for its strong visual and conceptual framework, which they describe as the “red concept” - a symbol of energy, tenderness, and quiet revolution.
Neha! offer a concert experience built entirely on voices - and on what can happen when they come together.
