Fragile yet energetic indie pop with a distinctive voice of the new Czech generation
Veronika Valová belongs to a new generation of Czech singer-songwriters who naturally blend indie pop, soul, and contemporary folk with an authentic personal expression. Although still at the beginning of her career, her music has quickly gained attention both on streaming platforms and social media, where she is followed by tens of thousands of listeners.
One of Veronika’s greatest strengths is her ability to combine intimate songwriting with a modern, accessible sound and a strong live energy. Her concert debut with a full band at the Dock club in Ostrava immediately proved that her music works just as powerfully live as it does online, which was later confirmed by a successful club mini-tour in 2026.
Her single Důkaz was featured in Spotify’s official New Music Friday playlist shortly after its release and received positive responses from music media. Veronika is currently working on new material for an upcoming EP scheduled for release in autumn 2026.
